THEY’RE all charged up about the changes taking place at electrical contractor Green Installations Ltd - but even as the company enters a new era, the commitment to customer service and quality remains unshakeable.
New bosses, new premises, a new website due to be unveiled, it’s all happening for the business which used to be known as ACG Installations.
“Everyone’s looking forward to this new chapter in the company’s story,” declares Contract Manager Malcolm Yates.
“It’s a new challenge to us all and everyone’s raring to go.”
Last December saw Paul Trow and Andrew Gerrett, who’ve been with Green Installations for the last eight years, take over at the helm and embark on a plan to expand the client base, particularly focusing on the domestic market.
As an NICEIC-approved contractor and using Gas Safe registered engineers, Green Installations handles all types of electrical, plumbing, fabrication and welding works for the domestic, industrial and commercial sectors.
Paul and Andrew are hands on directors taking part in the carrying out of works rather than taking a back seat, Malcolm carries out the day to day workings of the office and client liaison works.
“We carry out all types of electrical, plumbing or welding work, from a simple repair to a complete installation,” emphasises Mr Yates.
“We’re proud of the good standard of service we provide, too; we turn up on time and at the time we say we will and we’re not expensive.”
It’s the high quality service and the reasonable prices that have helped Green Installations take on projects across the country from clients who are household names, such as Franke Foodservice Systems and Ecolab /Kay Chemicals.
Not only that, they’ve retained them for well over a decade, building up the kind of successful professional relationship that’s worth it’s weight in gold and that they’re determined to maintain.
“Customer loyalty is important and it means everything to us to have such long-standing clients,”Mr Yates.
Now the company is surging ahead, looking forward to establishing itself in the global market through the upcoming launch of its website which will provide a comprehensive guide to its full range of services.
And all the changes will be coming from the new office space and warehouse at Unit 1, Appledore Terrace, Appledore Road, Walsall, WS5 3DU, to which Green Installations moved last April.
Boasting its own car parking the new site is more easily accessible, not just for customers, who always receive a warm welcome, but for Lorries making deliveries.
